General questions

When should I book Christmas light installation?

Booking opens in August. Installs start in early October, and the weeks before Thanksgiving fill up first.

What if it rains or a cold front blows through?

Our lights and connections are rated for outdoor use. If weather causes an outage during the season, we’ll repair it at no charge.

Do I need to be home for installation?

No. We only need access to your exterior outlets and yard. We’ll send a text when we arrive and again when the installation is complete.

How do I pay?

A deposit reserves your install date and the balance is due after installation. We accept card, ACH and check.

Residential Christmas Light Installation

Do I need to buy my own Christmas lights?

No. We supply commercial-grade LED lights cut to fit your home. You can lease them each season or purchase them outright, and we can store them for you between seasons.

Will the clips damage my roof or gutters?

No. Our clips slide under shingles or onto the gutter edge. We never nail, staple or screw anything into your home.

Commercial Christmas Light Installation

Can you install after business hours?

Yes. Most of our commercial installations take place early in the morning, after close or on weekends.

Do you work with HOAs and property managers?

Yes. We light HOA entrances, amenity centers and apartment communities, and we can provide a certificate of insurance and invoicing that fits your approval process.

Permanent Christmas Lights

Can you see permanent lights during the day?

Very little. The track is color-matched to your fascia and sits beneath the eave, so from the street it reads as part of the trim.

Are permanent Christmas lights worth it?

If you decorate every year, permanent lighting typically costs less within a few seasons than paying for annual installation and removal, and you can use it year-round.

Tree & Landscape Christmas Lighting

Does wrapping lights hurt my trees?

Not when it’s done properly. We wrap snugly without restricting the bark, never use staples or nails, and remove everything promptly after the holidays.

How high can you wrap a tree?

We wrap trunks and major limbs on mature live oaks and can reach higher canopies with ladders or lift equipment, depending on access.

Wreath & Garland Installation

Are the wreaths and garland pre-lit?

Yes. Our outdoor wreaths and garland are pre-lit with LEDs and run on timers using battery packs or concealed plug-in power.

Can you hang wreaths on second-story windows?

Yes. Upstairs window wreaths are very visible from the street, and we secure them so they stay level in the wind.

Christmas Light Removal & Storage

Will you remove lights you did not install?

Yes. We remove displays that homeowners or other companies installed. If you’d like them stored, we’ll test and label them as well.

When do you take Christmas lights down?

Removal begins the week after Christmas and runs through January. Many HOAs ask that lights come down by mid-January, so we recommend booking early.
